By accessing or using Can We Settle ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
Can We Settle is an online platform that facilitates settlement negotiations between legal professionals. The Service allows attorneys to enter settlement parameters confidentially and automatically determines if a mutually beneficial settlement is possible based on the entries made by each party.
To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate information including your name, law firm name, and email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
When using the Service, you acknowledge that an Automatic Settlement occurs when a mutually beneficial settlement is reached based upon the entries made by each party. Such settlements are binding and subject to the applicable laws in your jurisdiction. By participating in the settlement process, you confirm that you have the authority and permission from your client to settle within the parameters you enter.
The Service charges a flat fee of $19.99 per settlement. Payment is required before a settlement can be initiated. All fees are non-refundable once a settlement process has begun.
Can We Settle is solely a facilitator of potential settlements and does not guarantee, warrant, or insure the enforcement of any settlement reached between parties. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.
All settlement parameters and offers entered into the system are kept strictly confidential. Information is only shared between parties if and when a settlement is reached, and only to the extent necessary to document and enforce the settlement.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
